Sports Tech World Series
Thomas is a global leader in sports technology ecosystem growth and development with a passion for connecting the best people with the best ideas. He is the Host of Sports Tech Feed, The Global Sports Technology Podcast, and Head of North America for the Sports Tech World Series (STWS), the largest global community of its kind in Sports Data, Digital and Technology. Prior to this role, Thomas Co-Founded the IoT Festival, Australia’s largest Internet of Things industry event, which was acquired in 2019 by the German media conglomerate, Forum Media Group GMBH.
Thomas serves as a Mentor and Judge for a range of preeminent sports tech accelerators, including MassChallenge, StartupBootcamp and Stadia Ventures. He also serves as Chair of the Commercial Leadership Board of the International Sports Technology Association (ISTA).
Out of the office, Thomas is an ultra-endurance athlete, most recently becoming the 1,647th person to swim solo across the English Channel. As a fan, Thomas is a die-hard supporter of the West Coast Eagles Football Club in the Australian Football League, who he supports from afar in his adopted home of Austin, Texas.
